The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Kredietbank N.V. became Kredyt Bank S.A. shareholders.
1997
Merger with the Polski Bank Inwestycyjny S.A. The Kredyt Bank network of units encompasses the entire country.
2001
The KBC Bank N.V. becomes a strategic shareholder of the Bank.
Commencement of collaboration with the Warta Insurance and Reinsurance Association in implementing bancassurance banking-insurance projects.
Żagiel S.A., a credit intermediary, becomes a part of the Kredyt Bank Group.
2002
Implementation of the PROFILE centralized information system in all Kredyt Bank operations units.
2004
Introduction of a new organizational structure in the Kredyt Bank.
2005
Kredyt Bank together with WARTA Insurance and Finance Group, its strategic partner, changed their logotypes and corporate visualization. The new logos are symbols of creating new brands and strengthening cooperation between the two companies.
2006
Kredyt Bank began a project of extending its network by 120 units till the end of 2008.
Kredyt Bank and WARTA were named 'High Reputation Brands' in Premium Brand 2006 survey.
Kredyt Bank and WARTA constitute a new organizational structure at the national level and they integrate selected areas of their activities in order to effectively implement a bancassurance approach.
KBC sold 5.5% of shares in Kredyt Bank to increase free float up to 20%.
Currently, the Belgian banking-insurance KBC Group holds an 80.00 percent stake in the Kredyt Bank's share capital.
